Once the information is recorded, a key feature of the database is that ‘Word’ documents can be printed out for reference in the field, or passed on with the sale of an animal to provide a comprehensive historical record. The 'ancestor view' can be used to track breeding relationships, an instant 'who's sired who' and it is hoped to extend this to include information from other flocks, providing a common reference point for breeders of Wiltshire Horns. |

We use are own unique, custom designed, user friendly database to store and manage all the data about our flock and other animals in their family tree. As well as recording all the legal requirements such as DEFRA identification and pedigree society references we use it to record details that are important to us, such as details of medical treatments, weights, condition scores and even images and distinguishing marks. |
